On Radcliffe Day, alumnae/i, fellows, and friends gather with the greater Harvard University community to honor Radcliffe’s past and celebrate its future.
Traditionally held on the day after Harvard’s commencement, Radcliffe Day culminates in the Annual Luncheon, which includes the presentation of the Radcliffe Institute Medal to an individual who has made a significant impact on society. On Radcliffe Day 2010, May 28, feminist pioneer Gloria Steinem will receive the medal. More information about the day's events will be posted soon. In late March, a link will be provided for registration.

Established in 1999, the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University is a scholarly community where individuals pursue advanced work across a wide range of academic disciplines, professions, and creative arts. Within this broad purpose, the Radcliffe Institute sustains a continuing commitment to the study of women, gender, and society. The Institute advances its mission through the Radcliffe Institute Fellowship Program, the Institute's Academic Engagement Programs, and the Arthur and Elizabeth Schlesinger Library on the History of Women in America. In the fall of 2009, the Institute began a yearlong celebration of its tenth anniversary.
