Alumna and former trustee of Radcliffe College Maurine Pupkin Rothschild ’40 and her husband Robert Rothschild ’39 established the annual Rothschild Lectureship at the Schlesinger Library in 1989. Distinguished speakers in the series have included Maxine Singer, Amartya Sen, Angela Davis, and Samantha Power. This year’s lecture is cosponsored by the Committee on Degrees in Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality; the Humanities Center; and the Department of English, Harvard University.
