The Path of a President Pat Harrison After six years as founding dean of the Radcliffe Institute, Drew Gilpin Faust becomes the twenty-eighth president of Harvard University—the first woman to hold the position. Ruth E. C. Prince His two award-winning books feature narrative poems about ghetto life in Philadelphia, but at Radcliffe, Jackson moved in a different direction, writing a series of short lyric poems.
