Research Partnership Junior Partners
What is the Radcliffe Research Partnership (RRP) program?

This program matches undergraduates with senior scholars at the Radcliffe Institute to work collaboratively on research projects. The program is designed to be mutually beneficial: students (junior partners) provide research assistance, while senior partners act as mentors.

How would I benefit from participating in this program?

Students acquire direct research experience which can be important in helping them choose among future educational and career options. Students will learn valuable skills in preparation for an honors thesis. Additionally, they can explore the pros and cons of a professional field on an individual basis with their senior partner, understand the choices involved, and also meet senior researchers in other fields.

Is funding available?

Yes. Junior partners are paid at the rate of $13 per hour for the work conducted on their projects.

How much time will it require?

The academic year covers both fall and spring semesters (September through May). Students should not work more than twenty hours a week during the academic term, averaging five to ten hours weekly.

How do I apply?

Students may now apply to participate during the 2011–2012 academic year. Please contact RRP for information on projects that are still open.
