A feature film in which a letter is sent to three women from their "best friend" Addie Ross, announcing that she is running away with one of their husbands—but she doesn't say which one. Starring Kirk Douglas, Linda Darnell, and Thelma Ritter. A discussion with Judith Smith, professor of American studies, University of Massachusetts at Boston, will follow the film.
