As we uncovered stories of Enterprising Women
for this website, two central themes stood out, the people that influenced
each woman's success and the mentors who helped them along the way. We've
shared their stories here, as a way of encouraging you to share your story
with us.
The Schlesinger Library began collecting stories in 1999 of graduates of
the Harvard/Radcliffe Program in Business Administration. This Radcliffe
program offered a management education to women from 1939 to 1963, when
Harvard Business School was opened to women. As a starting point for our
archive, we share a few of these women's stories. We invite you to add
yours.
We hope that this archive will provide a snapshot of this exciting moment in
21st century business history.
